Usually find a ball and if I like it, I'll buy a couple sleeves.

Found a B330 last year and it worked, so I got a few dozen on sale. So far, so good.

Found a Nike Tour Accuracy TW the other day, really like it.

Haven't found a HX 56 yet, but hear they're pretty good. Hope one shows up soon, or else I may have to pony up some cash for a 'test'. LOL

Being a junior I find golf balls out on the driving range and in the bushes left and right and in the ''ditch'' where some people hit away decent balls with their drivers.

If I find a decent grade pinnacle, topflite etc. I'll keep it for going over water etc. in practice rounds.

I sometimes look for balls while I'm out playing.

I usually only look about once every month/two but it depends I'll usually go out after big matches, captains prizes, presidents prizes etc.

Last time I went out after the ladies captain's prize, what a mistake!

All the bushes were full of pinnacle ladies and top flites w/ our clubs logo on them.

But if I have a bit of cash I'll usually buy a sleeve of NXT Tours

I always buy dozens of platinums. Though i will walk down the right side of the fairway in thick rough sometimes because i have found a few prov1's, a hx tour, and some other balls. If i can give myself a chance to get some more golf balls, why shouldnt I?

I always use a new ball for competition and than they go in the bag for practice rounds etc.... I use competition prize vouchers to keep myself in balls.

Buy 'em. If I find any, I don't know how long they've been there and most of the ones I find are usually there for a reason...they're damaged.

I buy my golf balls, but pick up ones I find along the way and if they are bad then I will use it to practice with and the good ones go into the bag for play.

If it's a good ball in decent shape, I'll pick it up. That said, I never actually look for balls, but find some on occasion when looking for my own.

One thing the irritates the hell out of me is people shagging balls on the course during play. We have a couple of members who must make a living selling used balls as much time as they spend out there digging in the water.

I don't mind them doing it when the course isn't full, but to pull the ball retriever out around every water hazard while a group is standing behind you waiting to hit is more than annoying. I've ever "heard" of players getting so frustrated by these actions that they go ahead and fire at the green (not that I'd do such a thing).

I buy reloads. NXT, NXT Tours, or PRO-V1. I buy a sleeve of Callaway HX Tours or TaylorMade Reds, when I play my favorite courses.

I don't usually find very many nice golf balls so I buy quite a bit. You can never find the TP Blacks, at least not yet. When I get the rare chance to play with my girlfriend's dad at his club, it is a feeding frenzy. The amount of ProV1's sitting just into the deeper rough is absolutely sick. I'm usually good for about 6 when I go there. He has a 5 gallon bucket in his garage full of premium balls he's found a few steps into the trees on the course. Just a bastion of monetary waste.

If i find some and there nice I keep them, if there not I give them to pops, he doesnt care what he hits. I bought some NXT grade A reloads from knetgolf.com and i was suprised, they were in really good condition. On a side note, does anyone know what balls the nike practise ones really are? I think they have like the swoosh and a "P" and say "practise".

I buy mine. However, if I find a B330s or a Pro V1x or something I'm interested in trying out, I'll use it. The rest I'll give to my son...it keeps him out of my bag.
