You just run out superlatives. Wish I had something new to add...I don't so I'll just say congrats Tiger!

Ditto. When every golf fan and commentator talks about him non-stop its hard to find anything new to say.Outstanding is all i can muster.......

Also correct mcbush25 - no-else is on the same planet at the moment.

Im his biggest fan and he still never fails to impress and amaze me.

Jack's record haul of majors look less impossible with every major right now.

Kudos Eldrick.

Tiger's hibernation was just about the same amount of time the last time he changed his swing. Then like now "look" out. Now he realizes he doesn't need his driver most of the time which should result in 2000-2001 accuracy numbers returning. Also doubtful that Nike will ever get a putter in his hands (they thought they were so close :cheesy: )

The one area he will never tie Jack in (and Tiger has said this himself) is 19 second place finishes in majors but baring injury he will overtake Jack's 18 majors.

I also doubt he will ever play in a senior event when he gets to that age. It bothered Jack but he still played for whatever reason after he resisted for a long time. Tiger won't accept playing at that reduced level.

Its conceivable that Tiger can play the regular PGA right into his early to mid 50s....and contend!. As long as he stays away from major injury and continues with his working out, the man is a genetic golf freak. It wouldn't shock me if he was competitive on the PGA at 60!

Seriously doubt it. Genetic golf freak or not he has already had too many knee operations for that to be a possibility. By that time he will be able to predict weather with his knee due to arthritis setting in. He will be extremely fortunate if he can win in his mid 40s like Jack did. And Jack had no surgerys to any joint until his hip replacement at 58 years old.

Let us not forget who we are speaking off, Jack is the greatest of his time. Tiger is the greatest of this time despite 1 knee surgery. new technology these days for the body are lightyears beyond what was given back then. Stuff happens that is unexpected, It would not have taken much for Jack to be injured doing other activities as we have seen happen to others like Ernie for example, he was no where near a golf course and the poor guy was injured, you cannot guard against life.

You just have to remember how aggressive Tiger was in his game when he first hit the tour he even admitted that his old swing put too much pressure on his knees which contributed to his issues.

Say what you may about TW but he WILL drop Jack Major win's, he WILL play well into his 50's and he WILL be healthy throughout. He is simply UNTOUCHABLE and point blank the BEST player I and GOLF WILL EVER SEE!

I am eager to see what he does after Golf, that is the day I stop watching and paying attention to his REAL Life long ambition of helping our children.

Congrats TW! :cheesy:

2 knee surgeries (same knee---check with any orthapedic surgeon as to what he has in store for that joint--amazing golfer but without the ability to regrow cartilage just like everyone else) No where in any of my posts did I say he wouldn't surpass Jack's total. I did say he will NEVER come any where near Jack's 2nd place finishes in majors period (19 to be exact).
