Will be curious to hear your thoughts once you get it out on the course. I picked one up earlier this week (19 with Aldila NV) and will not be able to play for another week or two, which is killing me. I have read quite a few good reviews on the various sites, so it seems to be favorably received thus far. I am replacing the 503H in my bag, and although I like the "iron look", I will not miss it's inherit ability to go left. As for the 585H, is it just me or does it seem to be a bit heavy?

Any idea on how the 585's are weighted? So many of the retail heads out there today have so much draw bias in them, they're not worth hitting. I saw some today at our club and they look and setup nicely. I might try one if they're neutrally weighted or even a little fade bias.

Take this for what is worth, but from all the reviews I have read (which has been quite a bit), this club is very neutral and should avoid the typical hybrid miss to the left. I bought the club without hitting it outdoors (hit it on the local Golf Galaxy simulator and it looked real good, but I don't always trust it) based on the numerous reviews. I am coming from a 503H, and although I loved the iron like look, I will not miss the inherit ability to miss with a quick hook. I have not had a chance to get this on course yet (in South Dakota on a family event this weekend), but am looking forward to breaking this in on a long weekend in Colorado next week. I will post reviews when I am done.

I played today but only used it once off of the tee.

The weight balance was great and didn't feel heavy at all (to me).

Nice and solid feeling. I lost it to the right a little as what happens when I usually miss shots. but definitely a keeper.

It sets up beautifully and by far is the best looking hybrid I've owned (i.e. Rescue Mid, Nickent, LDI, Baffler Multi-Metal).

Picked one up last week (Actually three but two were for others.) Played 18 holes with only the 906F2, 585H, 5 iron, wedge and putter. Both the new Titleist's were superb. Missed only one drive right. I hit two tee shots expecting the wind to affect the ball but the ball went straight through the wind.

The clubs sound much softer than I am used to but the performance is as expected from Titleist. Great clubs which are now being reshafted with Accra SE80*. Highly recommended.

I just got my Friday night and played with it Saturday morning :beach: I couldn't wait... here is my quick review...

If I had to compare it to someting already in existance I will call it a cross between the TM hybrid and the Sonartec MD... The forgivness of the TM with the distance and feel of the MD :ok: ...

I know its a little heavier to me... but I like heavy so it works well for me... ;)

When I got it on the range it was hook machine for me, but after about 5 minutes I was working it left and right. I hit it about 5 times on the front 9 (I only had time for 9 :D ) I hit it good every time... Maybe not as long as my MD, but a lot more forgiveness...

To sum it all up... ;) :fool: ;) ;) ;) :cheesy: I gots myself a keep for a long time... or next week when the next big thing comes ou.... :D :)

How are you liking this compared to hybrids that you previously owned.

I think hands down for me appearance, performance, sound and feel are the best I've experienced.

I think that the 585 :cheesy: is a little less forgiving than a lot of the hybrid's out there like the Nickent or TM's :fool: , but it is alot easier to hit than the sonar ;) ... I have hit alot of hybrids, but not all of them, so thats all the imput I have.

I have the 17* verison and hit it with a pretty boring ball flight, I like that, for me if I hit the 19* it would be too high.

That's it!... one more time!!! ;)

mine most definately seems heavy, then again the shaft is also 85 grams, personally i like it.

...the 19* 585.H is by far, the most solid hybrid i have hit. almost muscle back solid feeling. it is also neutral and l-o-n-g. about 10 yards longer than any 19* hybrid i have owned or demoed... i was hoping to like it, but was not prepared for how much. i have played tour edge tour ironwood's and think they are the best iron like hybrid out there. especially if you play irons with very little offset. i recently switched to A2's in 4/3/2.. the 4/3 perform very well and i consider them a cross between an iron and wood hybrid, the best of both worlds. however the 2 did not give me the distance i was hoping for. after owning the rm tp, dual tp, nickent, clk, md, j33 utility and the A2, i was still lookin for a 2i/5wood replacement. the 585 is certainly it. as long as any 5 wood and longer than any 2 hybrid. it is in my bag. i don't believe i have ever been convinced of a new club so quickly. i have a feeling it may not be as forgiving as some of the others however, bcoz it is just so darn solid. i highly recommend you demo one to see how it works for your swing.
