anyone ever played Stowe Mountain in Vermont?

was there this weekend, wacky course!

title says it all...anyone ever play it? Mountain golf at it's finest (most difficult). Blind tee shots, greens the size of a kitchen table, elevation changes, holes falling off cliffs.

had some amazing views though, i remembered it being named one of the top new courses of 2008. My GF got me the round as a bday present and it was a lot of fun. Just looking to compare notes with people LOL

6400yds and a slope in the 140's!

Sounds like ...uh..fun? Lol. Haven't played Stowe, but your description reminded me of a Mike Strantz design in Williamsburg, Stonehouse GC. If you enjoyed lots of blind tee shots, elevation changes, and quirky design features (probably like all of Strantz's work), you should give it a try if you're ever in VA.

I played stowe one time like 5 or 6 years ago. I know I enjoyed it but I dont remember much about the course. Stowe is a really nice area though I usually go up that way at least once a winter for snowboarding.

oh i'd hate to play a tournament there, but for a fun round it was pretty cool.

I know a fair bit about Strantz....i have a supplier near tobacco road in NC. Haven't played it yet but next time i'm down there!
