Yes you will be able to hit it with your eyes closed! It might take a while but it is the single best drill that I've come across in nearly 20 years of pro golf. If I could tell people to practice one single thing this would be it.

One of the best parts of "his technique" is actually his discovery when watching great ball strikers that they all do the same thing with their left wrist through the ball and into the finish position. Then he talks about engaging the feet and legs to allow him to accomplish this wrist move with out hooking it off the world...

Past friend gave me a few dvd's.....need to watch and see what GK is all about when he is not hammered like he was in the Shell, Wonderful World of Golf match in Victoria against Mr. 59

I consider the Canadian instructors like Martin Chuck and Mark Evershed to be vastly superior to MOST of their US counterparts.

Far more creative and less dogmatic in their approach. They had guys like Knudson and Norman for models. Definitely out-of-the-box coaches and innovators. Both Martin and Mark create products that help the lesser player understand how better players actually play.

I would add that the book "Ben Hogan's Magical Device" is written by Canadian Ted Hunt and has several references to Knudson and Norman.

A great read that fits Monte's teachings, BTW.

He was an awesome guy, too. I took my first lesson with George when I was 9 years old. My dad got me a full day session with him. It was supposed to be a three person deal with George. Only one other guy showed up; Gar Hamilton, a fellow who was playing the Tour at the time. Another great guy...

Anyway, it was an awesome day. I had blisters on top of blisters, but man was it fun. When I was twelve, he started a junior development program and he invited me to participate. He coached about 12 of us from 8 am - 12 pm, Monday-Friday, for zero charge. He coached an adult clinic after lunch from 1 pm - 4 pm. Needless to say, it was awesome. He experimented on us, but almost everyone in the group played on a college scholarship in the US. Pretty cool for a bunch of Canadians born with ice skates on... He left The National Golf Club when I was 15 and I began working for him at his range in another part of Toronto. A few of us Juniors walked the line helping people if they had questions. Great coaching experience for me. He passed away when I was 18. Massively sad bummer.
