Don't take this the wrong way but I can tell you right now that you are wasting your time because you are not learning it properly. By just simply copying Ben Hogan's position will not do it. You have to study, analyze and learn how and why he got into those positions. It all has something to do with the way he setup to the ball. Everything else is a result of his setup. It was just simply physics after that. Your elbow is so disconnected at the top of your swing and you trying to hold off that impact position will probably cause you some serious slice or hooks if you try to save it and roll it over. Seems like you been on this project for two years and haven't really hit with it yet that much. Two years is a long time specially without even know how the ball flight is.

Sorry Jappo, haven't had any time to provide any updates. Having too much fun playing golf! I wish i had wasted my time many years ago. Maybe when it rains or gets cold I'll get back on the laptop, but right now, I'm late for my tee time! Tup Holmes here I come!! Thanks for all the excellent advice dude!

A completely rebuilt basement and still no ball flight video!

*facepalm*
[/quote]

he posted a swing awhile back with the ballflight on the course. The ball had like no compression though and almost looked like pop ups. Funny though, Hogan was known for his compression, just goes to show you how Hogan got his out of the dirt. This guy is getting his out of a tv screen into a net, plus hes way underplane and swinging out

Try turning on the wipers. Hogan used to do that when it rained. He used his left hand. He had this way of moving his wrist and the wipers would clear that water right off of there, every time. Or so they say. Some old timer outside of Mobile showed me once, but I didn't really understand what he was saying. It seems like it's some kind of secret.

If you can do it exactly the way Mr Hogan used to, you'll be able to see right out that window.

It's easier with modern equipment of course.

Ball flight is just like its always been. It's just a ball flying away. It flies for a while then lands in the fairway, and I make it fly again.

not a bad swing. I think its good you are adding your own touch to your swing. That always happens once you start actually playing and hitting balls instead of just hitting into a net and watching video.

Haven't kept score yet. Just hitting the ball to understand how my body works and where the ball goes. Didn't plan on keeping a scorecard till 2015.

Should put his upper arms above his pecs and he should be fine. But Ant's grip is awful, the L hand grip. That I think is the major issue.
