wilson fg tour x

very nice ball. feels alot firmer on driver and irons. still spins on wedges, "one hop and stop". it plays very similar to a prov1x. i played 18 holes with it, not much chewing from my vokey wedges and was great in the wind. its supposed to be released in november. also wilson is releasing the fg tour in yellow as well.

Still need to give the FG a try. Hope they are softer than the Tx4 ball. Hope Wilson reduces the font on the X ball as well.

these are nothing like the tx4 these are a very good tour ball.

Talking to one of their reps at a demo day, I told him I liked the FG Tour but would like it even more if they made a version that was firmer and spun less on longer clubs. It would appear they were getting the same feedback from quite a few other bubbas. This version will definitely be getting a test drive.

I love the TX4, even more so than the fg tour. The fg seems to have a little higher ball flight than the tx4 and is a little shorter... I will probably put it in play especially once my stock of tx4s are gone.

I have been playing the FG Tour and find that it lasts and lasts. I can easily play 2 or even 3 rounds with one ball as long as I don't lose it. I am wondering, though, it has a seam. Has anyone tried to line it up vertically on the driver to see if it goes a bit further like the old Pro-V did?

Nice ball i cant wait to give it a try,i gamed the FG Tour for awhile and its a great ball just a little too soft for me,sounds like the FG tour x will be a little firmer and in my wheelhouse.

I have about 25/30 sleeves of these left. THey were on blowout at a PGA SS. I love the FG tour and the TX4 but the TX 4 is a little flatter flight off the driver. The FG Tour X may be the answer!

I like the FG Tours. Reminds me of the old balata wound balls without the excessive spin. The X version should be perfect.

Big fan of these balls; both the fg tour and the X. My pro gave me a few to try and I compared them directly to a brand new prov1x and the Wilsons were longer and honestly felt better off of every club. The FG tour felt like an old balata, it was incredibly soft but still a very long ball off the tee with the driver. Performance around the greens were great as well, definitely on par with Prov1and Prov1x. I was sold instantly I will definitely be giving them a go.
