I'm staying in SE Portland right now, was living abroad for awhile but got back about 6 months ago. Playing a good 2-3 times a week, looking forward to this trny!

I just stumbled across this- I will follow it now though.

I work at the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie. The Woodlands course is a fantastic track with narrow tree lined fairways and ranges anywhere from 7170yds, 74.5/138 @ tips to 6159yds 70/127 from whites. Home Course is a great track too, just thought I'd through out another option, where I have an in. For that matter- Riverside Golf Course in Chehalis is a fun track too and I'm friends with the head pro.

I'll play, if I'm not working, wherever this thing gets set-up so I can meet you guys. Let me know if you want info on either of these courses.

Oh, Hawks Prarie. I've only played the Woodland course, (around 4 yrs ago), and I thought it was a really good trach, but needed a little love'n.

I didn't live in this state 4 years ago so I can't speak for it then, but I can say that we have a newer supe (came from Indian Summer-private) and the only complaint I've ever heard is that some would like the greens to stimp a little faster. But the reasons they aren't, is for a different thread- they usually run about 9.5-10 for those interested.

Not yet- some Indian Summer members have reciprocity at our course- I suppose I could have checked 'em in at some point though. What don't you like about Oki?

Just visited Auburn for the week and I have to say I can't wait for this get together. I hit balls @ Riverbend a couple of days and played 9. Wish I could of played more. But I'm stoked for the tourney!

LOL! I'm sort of a masochist in that I like to play golf courses that punish you for bad shots. I know I work there, but on a sunny 80 degree day, its like playing in a park.

So has there been a decision on a date or location for this NW get together?

May I suggest that some of us locals meet up and play a round of golf and follow that with a round table to get you some help and idea's to get the the T's crossed and the I's dotted.

ok so i did a quick count and think we just need to [u]start getting everything set in stone (DATE)[/u]. I mean we are about a month out and really dont know much yet.

Next We need to get the Date so we can figure out total number and contact THC.
I dont know who has been in contact with THC i think it was Whitefro but picking the date will make everything just fall together.

I dont think we will find a date that will allow everyone to agree with BUT i think it should be March 10th Saturday. Gives all of us 1 month to get a format and all the golfers.
