Hallo.

 

This is one of my first posts. My first question in the Clubmaker's forum was just viewed but not answered. I hope this time I'll get some answers or comments. Let's see if my equipment is worthy for you guys.

 

Drivers: Taylor Made R320 Ti 10,5? w/UST Pro Force Gold 65 Stiff-Flex, Taylor Made R540 10,5? w/ M.A.S.? 70 R-Flex(soon being replaced through a new UST Pro Force 75 stiff-flex)

Woods: Callaway Steelhead Plus #4 w/ stock graphite firm-Flex, Taylor Made Burner #5 w/ DG S300(sometimes replaced through my Taylor Made V-Steel #5)

Irons: Precept Tour Premium Forged Muscle-Cavity 4-9 DG S300, TourStage Z101 4-9 Project X 5.0

Wedges: Cleveland Tour Action 900 RTG 46?, 52?, 56? & 60?

Putter: Ping Anser 2 (85068) 34" copper-head, Ping B90 45,7" center-shafted, Never Compromise Voodoo 35" heel-shaft

 

I don't like those big-headed drivers, that's why I play such "old" Taylor Made weapons.

I think you have a fine set of clubs. I really like the rusty wedges, I use a couple RAW Vokeys that look the same way, they are some of my favorites.

Nice setup; if it works for you, that's all that matters. The Steelhead Plus and Burner are terrific clubs and still work great, who cares how old they are?

I love my tour premiums...I play the CB's but only my 4 and 5 irons are different from you set. I had a set just like yours, but I loves hitting the long irons (2 & 3) with the tungsten weight in it. :cheesy:

 

Now I only carry up to 4 iron... :clapping:

I have some "new" clubs and sold some of my clubs. This my actual setup:

 

Driver: Taylor Made R540XD 10,5° w/ UST Proforce V2 65 S-Flex and Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound

Woods: Titleist 980f 15° w/ DG S300, Taylor Made Burner #5 w/ DG S300

Irons: Precept Tour Premium Forged Muscle-Cavity 4-9 w/ DG S300, Precept Tour Premium Forged Muscle-Cavity 4-9 w/ Rifle 5.0

Wedges: Cleveland Tour Action 900 RTG 48°, 52°, 56° & 60°

Putter: Ping Anser 2 (85068) 34" copper-head

 

I sold the Voodoo, the V-Steel 5 wood and the R540 and I'm going to sell some gloves because I have to many different models and in future I only want to have two different models. The Mizuno PowerFit for practice sessions and the new Precept Tour for tournaments.

 

And I regripped the Ping Anser 2 and B60 with new Winn grips. The Anser 2 has now a Winn Udrainium in black with the little green on the top and bottom, and the B60 has a Winn AVS in blue both with the Ping writing on the front.

 

I'm gonna take some pictures of my "new" stuff and upload them in here.

Since friday I'm a proudly owner of a brand new Titleist 905R with 10,5° loft and a Aldila NV65 stiff shaft.

Just a week ago I found an almost brand new 904f 15° with Dynamic Gold S300 shaft on ebay and bought it for about 60 Euros.

 

So my new WITB is:

I'm sorry to say I sold the z101s long long time ago and never had the chance to get to know them. Played them 18 holes and they went right back out of my bag and into my room.

Yes I do. But I'm looking for a club that fills this gap, because it's a big gap. Looking for a Titleist 585H with 19 degrees or 21 degrees.

Well on the one hand I become less old school (relating the woods) but on te other hand I'm coming back to an old club I rarely used but which is now back in the game. My old Ping B90 center-shafted belly putter (45,7 inch).

 

My new driver should arrive this week: Titleist 907D2 9,5 degrees with Aldila VS Proto 65 stiff flex. Let's see how this thing will work. The story why I already now order a new driver is explained here: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=94618
