Golf Ball Collections

I was thinking about starting a golf ball rack "collection" I have a ball signed by Charles Howell 3rd and Fred Funk and some balls from some nice courses I have played. I am going to start displaying them. It got me thinking about what types collections other people have so if you have a collection please feel free to post a picture on here for everyone to look at. :(

i only have two balls in my "collection," and those are my only two eagles ever. i was so happy when i got those eagles.

i have two golf ball collections, one of golf courses i've played, and one at work of all the clubs i've worked that i've been to (i'm architect who works for a architecture firm that specializes in country clubs). at home i've got 3 - 25 ball racks. two of them are balls from texas and oklahoma. the third rack is my "east coast" rack which has balls from virginia and south carolina.

I have an enormous collection of golf balls (easily 150+). I have golf balls from every course I've played or visited that has had one for sale. I also have numerous tourist area (i.e. Disneyland). When I first began playing I read an article about how Ernie Els would get rid of a ball after he made a birdie or better with it. I did that for ovr a year, but labeled and dated every one so I have probably 50 that are all from the birdies or eagles I made. LOL.

I have almost filled up my second 80 ball rack. I buy a ball from each course I have played. For the cheap courses that do not sell logo balls I purchase a dozen personalized balls with the name of the course and then place one in the rack and play (and eventually lose) the other 11! Am I anal or what?

 

EBAY is a great place to locate balls from the courses you are missing. Youhave to keep a look out every day though.

I get logo balls from ever course I play at and put them on a rack...lol

my collection isnt that big, around 40 balls. they're from cool places, not necessarily courses ive played- pebble beach, cypress, st andrews-. coolest ball by far is Bill Murry's ball that I found after it went WAY left in a charity event. he ditched the ball, and i picked it up. cool stuff.

I have log balls from almost every course I have played. I do not have racks to display them, so they just sit in my garage in old ball boxes...

I have balls from every course I have played, every tournament I have attended as well as companies I have worked for and done business with. I also have "special" balls on display as well such as the Black One Black.

i have probably over 150 balls, i collect the logo ones from places i play. I also have my first hole in one and my first eagle (you know what i mean). On top of that, i think i have about 12 autographed ones from when i was standart barrer at the Greater Seattle Classic last summer.

I started collecting golf balls a few years ago...while working at the Target World Challenge. I only collect the balls that are used by Tour players and have a ball from nearly every player that's played in the Target Challenge since 2003 and many of those are signed.

 

The prize of the collection is a ball that Tiger gave me in 2004 and the remenants of the tee that he used on the hole I was working. After the round he signed the ball.

I only have a few balls in a wood ball case. I have some with players' autographs and I also have the ball I used in my first sub-par round and my hole-in-one ball. However I do have a large marker collection from every course I have played. It must have in excess of 100 pieces.

These are all my autographed golf balls. I got these from being a standard bearer for the: PGA Tour's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Nationwide Tour's Monterey Peninsula Classic (no longer a tournament), Champions Tour 1st Tee Open at Pebble Beach.

I have a large collection of "logo" balls from various courses and from other companies.

I also keep a hold of balls that I use when playing exclusive courses or if I do well in a tournament I will keep my ball.
