Titleist Japan 2012 Vokey Design Forged Wedge

Guys, I'm kinda new in this forum and in the golf world as well... Could you explain to me what is this connection between Titleist and Japan? I don't get it. I don't understand why the japanese products seem to be completely different from the rest of the world. Is Titleist from Japan? I would not think so...

What part of "they're forged and U.S. models are cast" do you guys not understand?

Japanese consumers are far more demanding about quality and tolerances. They won't buy junk. They're willing to pay for high quality products, but most of the west is unwilling to.

Japanese homes are sparsely furnished with high quality furniture and fixtures. Western homes are filled with cheap junk.

There's an old joke about America and Japanese buyers in Asia. Corporate buyers from America take only a cursory look at products and spend their time trying to negotiate the price as low as possible. No one cares about the quality. Low cost is all that matters.

Japanese buyers will spend their time screening, testing, analyzing tolerances and fit, testing packaging and making sure the products are highest quality. Price is secondary.

The bottom line is that the American market will not support the price levels required to get high quality golf products.

Really like mine. To me they look just like TVD's even the grooves and face look the same. Not as solid feeling or dense feeling as my miuras, bigger head. But like the grind and the pre worn leading edge. Really like them. The first pic is a 50. And I have a 54 and a 60.
Do like how clean they are... And they do feel very different then an off the rack vokey...by a lot!
