Craft beer Drinkers Unite!

I'll be doing my annual work trip to Cali in a few weeks. We will be in San Fran, Lake Tahoe, San Bernadino for one night and finally San Diego. Breweries I plan to hit include Russian River, Tahoe Mountain, Modern Times, Intergalactic and Alesmith. Anything else I should visit? GTR I've already been to Stone, Ballast Point and two other San Diego breweries that I can't remember the name of now.

 

My BIL moved to Tahoe six months ago and really likes Moonraker in Auburn, CA. In LA, hit up Monkish in Torrance. I went there in Nov and their stuff is really good.

 

Moonraker looks like IPA heaven! Thx for the reco.

Had the day off today and took the fiancé to a local Brewpub for lunch. The Ocmulgee River is a big deal where we live, and we have a small Native American Historical area off of the river. One of the beers from the Ocmulgee Brewpub is an excellent IPA called Muscogee Curse. Had one of the IPA's and picked up a pretty cool t shirt.

Thanks 1puttTut for dropping off the M43, We also dipped into cellar a bit. The 2015 Parabola is pure. Merkin a bit too thin but at 8.5% a good lower abv beer.

Unfortunately Moonraker was closed today so we went to Knee Deep instead. Cool spot and lot's of good IPA's. Afterward we hit fifty-fifty in Truckee. Good food and nice beer as well.

Bought my ticket for the Detroit taproom KBS release this morning. Not a bad deal you get 1 bomber and 3 4pks for $92.

Wild Barrel Brewing, around the corner from Lost Abbey.. Had the best sours ever, tried the Black Currant n Boysenberry.. Also the Orange n dark chocolate stout!

Not sure if anyone here as suggested it yet, but I signed up for Tavour about a year ago, and got my first 'crate' at the beginning of the year. It's a cool service, but the shipping method and timeframe is not what you might be use to. But other than that, I would suggest it to any craft beer lover. My second crate is due in the first half of March. I will try to remember to post a picture of what I got when it gets here.

Been on Tavour for a couple years. They've definitely improved their offerings. I typically only order stuff we won't see in distro in AZ toppling goliath and Melvin stuff mostly. Haven't placed an order in a while though so not sure if you still can move up your ship date if you want it faster. The service is only available in a handful of states

Yeah, only being available in a few states makes it a bit of a problem. They only started shipping to PA in the last year after some laws were changed here.

 

You can still bump up your ship date which is nice, but it take a while for the shipment to arrive.

 

The box coming next is filled with NEIPA's from all over. Have one of them coming from Anchorage Brewing in Alaska.
