Pretty much live where one can play 7/365. The bad news is ...prices for even the Rag knot courses are going up and I find it difficult to pay that kind of money for crap unfortunatly the "better" courses are up as well which result in fewer rounds played.

Bay Area, CA (and Chicago). I've spent most of the winter here and played most every weekend since, oh, July, but don't get to play again until Sunday. By that time it will have been a week and I'm getting the Golf Jones already.

the golf gods and mother nature are teamed up against me so far this year. every day that it has been dry and sunny or "warm w/ light drizzle" are the days ive had to work. and of course on my days off its either pouring down rain or borderline snow...one of these days ill be able to get out there..cant complain too much since my bag isnt even ready this year

My golf association meeting is Sunday, been thinking about it all week. Ever since last Saturday or so when I walked into a golf galaxy for no apparent reason and nutted everything I hit I've wanted to play BAD. The amazing streak of weather we've had in SEPA has made it that much worse, and I'm on Spring break this week with temps in the 60's and 70's all week, so I pretty much will be playing everyday. Hoping a bunch of the guys are playing the morning of the meeting before hand so I can get a round in with familiar faces. Going alone is just never as fun.

After spending six years in Phoenix I decided to move home to Alaska last fall. As much as it sucks to not play all winter I did the math and realized that because winter is peak season in AZ the prices were too steep and I couldn't afford to play that often anyway. At least now I can get back on my snowboard and get up into the mountains again. Yes, I do wish I could play, but simulators will have to work for now. The benefit of all this snow outside? My putting should be much better this season. We're almost there guys! Come on snow, melt already!

Just called the range and they're opening on Friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Club de Golf International 2000 opened this week-end, for those living in Quebec who are interested. They said they're pretty much full for next week-end, but the week is wide opened and people can show up without reservation.

"It is what it is" is the motto here: do not expect the course to be in top shape. If it snows, they'll try and blow it all in the woods so that they reopen the next day.

The course and range finally opeedn up last week near my work. I bought a range pass again last year, unlimited balls for a year for $200, how's that?! They lose money on me every year. Even though I can only hit balls 8-9 months a year, I hit about 6 buckets a week average. I figure that's 6 buckets times 34 weeks avg. equals 204 buckets, or ~$1.00/bucket instead of $3.00/bucket. I hit 3 buckets today. :yahoo:I live in Northern NM but usually drive south one hour to play all year around in avg. temps ~40-50 degrees. I am heading to Phoenix Wednesday for a round at WeKoPa then 2 days of watching the LPGA!!!

Columbus, Ohio here. Went to the course to chip/putt on Sunday. Ordered new clubs on Sunday. Will be here tomorrow. Hoping it's nice this weekend to start practicing.

Well we just got a heat wave rolling through SW Ontario, today and tomorrow are beauts, and I think the spring is upon us. Just got the clubs regripped so I'm going to hit the range both days and FINALLY get to dial them in. I can't wait for this weekend!!

Booked a tee time for tomorrow morning!! It's 20°c right now and I'm golfing on March 17th.....breaking my old record by 3 days.....life is good.

I'm thinking Parcours du Cerf will open before that, with the temperatures we're "supposed" to have during the next 7 days.

Of course, we will end up having a blizzard on friday but hey, I'd rather live in denial right now !

Yep, I was there for about 2 hours today, and will be going back tomorrow...or later this morning if you prefer.

There were a few people hitting balls inside. I stayed outside. Price is up 25 cents this year...

Mine started about 2 months ago. I got to hit balls on Thursday and going to play tomorrow and Sunday. Vermont is seeing sunshine and 70 degrees.
