Adams XTD 3T Fairway..."tour" only

I'm also finding that the golf ball is a lot easier to elevate with an 14.5* Super XTD than the 15* RBZ. And the Super XTD cranks out longer distance.

The 3T is head only. It's not sold in stores.

Below are some pics of the Adams 3T XTD fairway. Slightly deeper face than retail XTD and has a better sound. These have no loft designation on the club. The loft comes on the tour sticker. They are 16* and can easily be bent. Awesome looking club. This loft will never hit stores.

Adidas has bags, shoes, gloves, outerwear, hats etc. etc. One interesting option would be to run parallel companies sharing clothing and R and D. Adidas Golf, with Adams as the equipment piece. Maxfli balls re-labeled as Adidas along with some shared tech. with TM.

The 3T is the only club with no loft on it. I have a tour head 14.5 and it says 14.5.

That's what I said lol. The 3T is a 16 and different head than the 14.5. The 13.5, 14.5 and 18 say that on the bottom. Awesome club.

They are in the $385-$500 per head range

Anybody had the opportunity to compare the 14.5* and the 3T 16*? I'm interested in finding out the differences in ease of hitting off the deck and distance bettween the two. Thanks!

Thats good to hear! I have problems with a lower ball flight with my fairway woods so I think that the higher loft will be better. In your sig it shows you went witht the 14.5*..how is that ball flight and why didn't you go with the 16*?

The flight with this wood is higher than an RBZ counterpart. I have found the adams XTD 14.5 to launch higher than an RBZ standard 15. The dual slot system makes it very easy to elevate. I personally thought the 14.5 was launching to high for my liking so I went with a 13. My launch is now around 11-12 degrees. I was launching the 14.5 around 13 to 14 degrees. Just my two cents.

I picked one up a 3T 16 last Friday. Had an old 757 laying around, and couldn't stand to wait to pick a new shaft for it. Loving it so far, only used it a couple of times though. Looks like the FD may be going to the backup bag, or getting traded towards a new xtd hybrid.
