Scratch Golf SB-1 irons and Tour Custom wedges in the bag of Nationwide Soboba Golf Classic Champion

CHATTANOOGA, TN – Scratch Golf Clubs picked up its first major Tour win of 2012 this past weekend at the Soboba Golf Classic in San Jacinto, CA. The winner carried a full set of the companies SB-1 irons as well as 3 Tour Custom wedges in what was his first victory on the Nationwide Tour.

The SB-1s are SS grind and Satin Chrome. The wedges are a 52* and 56* KLD grind and a 60* CTG grind and are Raw finish.

“We could not be more thrilled that our clubs were used to win again on the Nationwide Tour today,” said Scratch Golf President/CEO Ari Techhner. “We are honored that so many players out on the worldwide Tours choose to play our clubs and it does not get any more exciting than when one of them gets a victory. Great to hear...!! I still am in love the 1018's I picked up in the off season...just have to get used to their incredible performance from all type of lies on the course. Whenever I think I need to swing more due to a bad lie, I hit it too far..they just flat out work!! Never thought I would have to DIAL DOWN some clubs!! LOL!!

Our server crash has slowed the release of The Armory just a little bit. Our web guy was working hard to get The Armory site up on the 9th as planned but when the Scratch site server crashed he has had to concentrate on fixing that rather than the final steps of The Armory site. The first special release of clubs through The Armory are ready. Were just waiting fir the site to be done. The Scratch site should be back up this weekend and The Armory sometime next week.

Were just waiting for the website to be finished. Our main site crashing forced our web guys to shift their focus to the main site and away from The Armory site. The main site is back up obviously but they are still working out some kinks on the main site while working on The Armory site too. It should be done soon. Ill keep you guys updated.
