Recommendations for golf around Harrisburg, PA?

I'm coming to Harrisburg Memorial day weekend. I should be able to play Saturday and Sunday (May 26th, May 27th)

 

One day, I wouldn't mind something in the $70-$80 range, if it's nice.

 

On the other day, I'd look for something in the sub $50 range.

 

I'd like to play within 20-30 minutes of the city. I don't mind going off as a single or getting paired up.

 

Any recommendations?

 

If anyone is looking for a 4th Saturday or Sunday (Monday MIGHT work), let me know. I can't really go off real early, maybe something after 8:00 or 8:30.

When I visit the in-laws, I like to play Fairview GC in Lebanon PA. It's not a particularly long course, but it's just a nice day out. I think we paid $44 with a cart. Definately a well kept secret. If you want your teeth kicked in, Iron Valley about 5 miles further will do just that. A VERY challenging Pete Dye course. Great views, about $65, but man, bring some balls, a solid iron game and your short game. You're going to need them all!

Thanks, but 45 minutes is kind of pushing my limits for how far I'm driving. I'm in town with with the wife, but she is busy during the days. I am able to get away, but I don't want to drive all over tarnation just to play if there's golf nearby.

Colonial or Blue Ridge, both are now semi-private/public so you can get on.

Felicita, north of Harrisburg is decent.

Hershey Links will probably be close to $100 on a weekend but is very good.

Royal Manchester, between Harrisburg and York on the west shore is very good as well.

Hershey Links would be my choice, but only if you can get the hot deal of the day on GolfNow. It's really not worth $100.00.

I have a tee time at Dauphin on Saturday. They put me with a two-some. I'm going to figure out what to do for Sunday, but Felicita looks pretty good.

Some of the other options are pricey or drivey. Maybe a trip in the future to Hershey Links when I can get up there with a foursome sounds good.
