Since the new drivers have lower more forward CG it lowers the ball flight making people have to "Loft Up" to reach the optimal launch conditions. In the case of the article it sounds like the writer doesn't have enough swing speed to get the ball up in the air. Taylormade's "Loft Up" marketing only applies to their drivers, not their irons.

I love the 09 Nike shoes. You can still find them new.

The White Blue are the Air Zoom Elite II. This shoe is so comfortable I have 3 more sets in other colour configurations.
The Blacks are the TW Air Zoom 09
