Sumo 2 Tour

Currently game a Nike LTD Ed (and don't get me wrong I love the thing), was searching around the 'bay and noticed some Sumo 2 Tour drivers for sale and thought about pulling the trigger since its pretty cheap. I've never seen the Sumo 2 Tour in person, i've seen the old 5900 model and thought the thing was just huge, anyone know how this compares in size? How about performance? I have an Ahina 60X that needs a new home and I thought this might be a good match, any feedback from anyone who games or has one of these would be appreciated!

The Nike SQ Sumo 2 Tour has a high spin and the driver is extremely loud at impact. I haven't seen the 5900 but I've read both are similiar in size.

I believe it is the same size as the 5900 but has a higher cog to reduce spin in comparison to the 5900. Hopefully others can confirm.

Square/composite drivers sound bad but go straight.

I had a Sumo 2 Tour in the bag for a year and really liked it. The head sets up about .5 degree open and is a little more muted than the 5900. Still a pretty high spin head though.

Noway did i find the Sumo 2 Tour high spin. Quite the opposite.

Low spin monster with the right shaft. My spin number are at 2300 with a bb or proforce v2. Straight and long.

I had one with a Speeder 757 and gave it to my buddy who still plays it. It is basically a 5900 with an open face angle. Sounds like a coffee can when you hit it, no question about that. Was fairly high launch(high back spin) with low side spin. I hit some bombs with it. It was quite the fairway finder. But at the end of the day I prefer a deep faced driver and the Nike Square is super shallow faced. Really tough to get used to the sound though. People at the driving range used to get flat out angry at me. Worth a shot if you don't mind the sound. They are really cheap. I got one new for like $130 3 years ago.

I hated the sound, absolutely hated it. Not as tinny and loud as the 5900, but still very unpleasant for my ear. I've had the 5900, sumo2 tour with v2, vr tour px 6.0, and now vr pro le with f7m2 and each one is better than the previous for me
