When are the golf courses in Niagara likely to open in 2013? When does the golf season start?

 

I am visiting for a few weeks in April-May next year and am worried I might be there too early to enjoy the courses.

You should be fine for April, we are usually playing around the end of March here.

Courses usually open based on weather. The Niagara area opens usually in late March.
April and May 100% guaranteed they will be open by then and the spring weather will play a big part in the course conditons

Just got back from a weekend of golf in Niagara Falls. We battled through some harsh weather conditions with the rain from early Saturday morning, but were able to get two rounds in. Played Grand Niagara and Royal Niagara.

Grand Niagara is a must play. This is my favorite course in the region so far.
