Putter Found While Cleaning Out My Grandfather's Attic, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Any help would be appreciated... So far, I checked the Golf Pride Patent on the Grip and I believe this is a club from around 1949... I really would appreciate any and all help on this. Thank you.

Cool. Not a huge number of wood putters.out there. Dead straight grain. Interesting that the grain runs from toe to heel, instead of from the face back or in a horse shoe pattern. I imagine that golf pride grip is rock-hard too. It looks like the old solid rubber? It is a first for me.

F/y/I, if you want to see some cool contemporary wood-head putters, check out Mustyputters. High tech laminated maple with a neat toe-heel weighting system. Ron Musty,the owner, custom made some for our invitational a couple of years ago.

Thank you very much, I will have to check that out. The grip is indeed hard as a rock- likely solid rubber. The ferrule isn't that tightly wound thread that you normally see on older clubs. I tried to do a search of the patent number shown on the grip, but I haven't had much luck. Thanks again for the info.
