Need a new end cap for a bullseye putter, any ideas?

I found a great old bullseye putter that I really like using when I play classic golf. The only "issue" with it is the end cap is broken. I need to post a pic, but basically the end cap is a disc of plastic with a screw/nail going through the center of it to hold it onto the end of the grip.

 

For whatever reason, the end cap has broken in half (it was that way when I got it) so only half of the disc is there. I would love to fix/replace it but have no idea where to look.

 

Any classic golfer out there have any idea where I can find a new end cap for an original grip on an old Bullseye putter?

I have a couple hundred Bullseyes, I could take a shaft off with the correct grip and end cap and send it you , you just pay shipping?? Send me a pic so I can match it up

If by chance you have a pre-Titleist Bulls-Eye, you might want to reconsider changing out the shaft.

Hi Jack,

It is pre-Titleist, but are you concerned for the value or the feel of the shaft? The putter cost nothing, like $5, but I really like it, but the broken end cap drives me nuts looking at it every time I putt with it.

What do you suggest?

I have a Bullseye end cap disc that is black with a white center section, with a black Bullseye clubhead outline in it. The overall diameter of the end cap is a tad over .750 in diameter and it has a grooved nail sticking out of the center. I would be happy to send it to you as a gift. It's all about feel...

IMO, the pre-acushnet/titleist shafts with the longer, pointed flutes, have amazing feel.

I've got an early STD M 6 P with it's original leather paddle grip... one of my absolute favorite putters.

As far as the missing end-cap, just cut a round piece of lead tape (or two/three) and stick in on and message it in till it's flush.
