Ultra Classy Byron to share.

I was browsing through my old photobucket album and found some pictures I forgot that I had taken.

This putter was sold to me in a package from Byron, shortly after his split with his former partner. I loved this putter, but there came a time when I needed money for bills or something deemed more important, and had to sell it.

Not sure if it was hand made or just a ton of hand finishing. Either way, it was one of the classiest putters I had ever owned and I know there are some guys here that are Byron Morgan fans that will enjoy seeing some of his early works.

If the owner of this piece reads this thread, I hope that the putter is your pride and joy and that you get a ton of compliments on it. There are not many guys in the putter world like Byron and this has to be one of his very best pieces, IMHO.

What year range was this, Early Bombora, love it.

This had to be mid-90's maybe? It was based on the MO model and he did a good number of custom shapings on that head.
Far enough back that the Bombora was not even a twinkle in his mind, yet, ;-).
Those who know me well, know that I have been a fan of Byron's for nearly fifteen years. He is one of the truly "GOOD GUYS" in the game of golf and the putter world.
If you have a chance to meet him, make it count.

That is classy. I'm amazed by how many different putter shapes Byron has made over the years. His portfolio of designs is massive!

...the lizard neck he just posted is nuts!

Ryan,
You may have been lucky enough to see some of the designs that never made it to Byron's line up, but went to other companies. The man is one of the absolute best at his craft and to be as generous with his time and work, as he is, blows my mind. I would not be anywhere near where I am, without Byron's help. The funny part? I have "known" him for fifteen years, talked with him countless times, customized heads that he has designed and been given the right to stamp them as MannKrafted putters................and we have never shook hands or shared a face to face.
THAT is my goal to do before 2012 ends.
The lizard is creepy.....cool, but creepy, LMAO.

Lamont, I recently contacted you and Byron about a Dale Head Long Neck with the copper insert from 2000. It has seen better days and he basically told me that, based on the pics I sent him, it was history. I asked about a similar model and he generously offered one he has in his shop. I'm definitely a fan of his now.
