Not everyone is going to venture off to something new right away you know. This is the same for every oem and their staffers.

i believe the tours are made of both. 3-7 is one material and 8-AW is another. i swear i read that somewhere

3-7 are 17-4 stainless, 8-PW are Soft 431 Stainless.

Money did you get an R1 from TM? I didn't know they were sending out any to WRX's out of the blue. I thought only the guys who won the trip to the Kindom got them. If others did that's pretty cool of TM.

I'm seriously considering a set of these RBZ tours. I sure hope they live up to the hype. I haven't gamed anything but Mizuno MP irons in almost 2 decades. RBZ tours sound too good to be true...

I asked about this a while ago and they said that they were designed more for the regular set versus the tour set. They help fill the gaps in the regular set, is what I was told. I personally think they look great but I may go with the ATVs just because they have more loft options available.

If I'm not mistaken the pictures I have seen from the rocketbladez testing thread the ATV technology is in the standard wedges for the standard version.

Correct. ATV technology with a little less aggressive face milling I believe.

ive seen some knock offs from china and they had a chrome toe without the dull and milling on the face, Dont they get their hands on the molds pretty fast since they do their real castings over there, might be how the tours will be

if you noticed i responded back saying i saw online they changed the design and are milling the faces

um no not all the secret info, no need to get snarky. just alot of the stuff we were told in Naples we were asked not to write about or just out of pure respect i wont talk about until the new products come out.

our Tours were some of the very first made and specifically set aside for us, when we got them we were told they wouldnt be milling the tours, but they said there would be a change in design and on top of that i guess they added the milled faces afterwards.

edit: i just noticed you are new to the site, so you may not know what im talking about when i say Naples. Me and 4 other members spent the week with TMAG and got the new Tour irons and all the info on the new lines.

He has a lot of info and has worked hard to make sure people here have as much info on the new products Taylormade has to offer this year as they will let him.

no tours only go to an AW. and it looks identical to the rest of the set. unlike the standards where the wedges look like the ATV style
