It's simply more courteous to your fellow golfers to pee on the course. It's a lot quicker than going into the clubhouse at the turn. "Find a bush, Audrey!"

Played with a random older guy a few months ago. Probably peed 8 times in the 18 holes we played. One hole he hits his shot. I drive past him and address my ball and I hear something behind me. He's about 30 yards behind me....facing directly at me....taking a whiz. Try hitting a knock down fade with that going on in your backswing.

If anyone thinks peeing on a golf course is bad etiquette, or disgusting....................... drive through a truck stop parking lot some time.

I was in Nitro, West Virginia one evening when a driver opened his door and whizzed while standing on his running board. There was a lady driver parked 4 feet from him sitting in the drivers seat doing paperwork.

Funny story.... Years ago on our home course my uncle's feeling the urge. Goes behind a big oak (3 holes from the nearest restroom)) whips it out, starts to unload. Out of nowhere a young lady driving the beverage cart appears. She got a full shot of everything! Drove away fast!
The next day at that very spot they added a porta-potty. We named it after him!

With that said, I fully support GC #1. Even dropping a deuce under extreme circumstances. Although I draw the line at #1 personally!

Ok I probably shouldn't say but.. Years ago I was playing TPC sawgrass with a buddy... We had been drinking beer all day... My buddy was "three sheets to the wind" by the time we got to #17... So we get on the green and he decides he's gotta go... So right there by the sand trap over the bulkhead he whips it out and takes a wiz in the lake... It wasn't a quick one either, stood there forever! Stadium golf at its finest! Luckily nobody was around! I still give him a hard time about that. Couldn't get away with that now, they got cameras everywhere.

Someone dropped a steamer in the 18th hole cup at the course I worked at this year. Thankfully this was years ago and before I worked there. Confirmed by 3 other employees including the cup setter / greens mower that had to clean that up.

A lady friend told me a story the she was playing with a lady from Vietnam and right in the middle of the fairway she dropped he drawers and started peeing.

She yelled at her and the lady said that is what they did in the rice patties in Vietnam.

We always go as a few groups to different golf courses and the older gentleman said he had to pee bad and the course was crowded so they put two carts on each side of him to block peoples view.

As he started to pee the carts drove off and left him in the open just peeing in the wind.We thought it was funny the older gentleman not so much.

If I'm in the woods peeing on a tree or behind a bush and you're watching me do it, you're the weird one. Going right next to the tee box or in the middle of the fairway is not ok though.

I just can't understand how people can get through life if they can't anticipate the need to go in ten minutes. Yet certain shrubs next to 2nd and 11th tee boxes have a distinctively different color thanks to them being used as public bathrooms. I use the loo at the turn and before/after the round
