ft tour vs ft 9 ta

Alright guys I have done some research and still cant tell if its worth picking up the ft 9 ta over the ft tour. Im an extremely high spin player and was wondering if the ft 9 ta reduced spin like other claim.

Sorry Man...the FT Tour made me quit Callaway. Played FT-5 for years and loved it. Picked up FT Tour and it is prob my least favorite driver ever in my bag.

Know a couple of guy still using FT-9 and they love it. For what its worth...If I could find another FT-5 with the same setup I would probably give it a whirl

my understanding is that the ft tour is a watered down retail version of the ft9 ta. head shape is very similar if not identical, but i'm not certain on the technology used in both.

The FT9-TA is my favorite driver head ever. If they were more durable and/or readily available,,I'd bag one again in a heartbeat. But since they aren't, I've moved on. It is a low spin head but there are other heads available that'll do that as well.

Hm thanks guys. I played the ft tour with a whiteboard 83 x flex and loved it. Stupid me sold it because I fell for marketing hype. Found some nice ft 9 tas on ebay for like 160

FT Tour and FT 9 TA are "supposed" to be the same. Their have been numerous threads on this with most claiming they're the same and some claiming that they are not. I've hit both and couldn't tell the difference. The only real difference seems to be the .350 and .335 hosel. I hit the Razr Fit and Razr Fit Tour Authentic heads much better than the FT Tour and FT 9 TA. There's an FT Tour 9.5 with a BIN of $60 on Ebay with the Voodoo XVS6 if you want one real cheap--as of this morning anyways.

Yeah im watching a ft tour now. U say the fit is a better head? I like a small cc head so would that mean id have to go xtreme?

The FT 9 TA was the best driver I ever hit. oban devotion shaft. I really regret getting rid of it.
Its totally worth it, sometimes you'll have people come up to you and show you their FT 9. "oh hey we have the same club" - "no we dont see that what does it say? tour authentic...."
