My favorite Masters moment is from the 1975 Masters final round. The few minutes of excitement with Tom Weiskopf making birdie on 15 for the lead while Jack Nicklaus waited to putt on 16. After Weiskopf's birdie, Johnny Miller aso birdies 15 to stay in contention and then Jack after seeing all that makes the long uphill putt on 16 to tie the lead with Weiskopf! Part of that moment was the call by Henry Longhurst as Jack made the putt and Henry exclaimed, "DId you ever see one like that?" What a voice he had and it fit the moment!

watching Phil win in 2010. Last time i got to watch it with my dad. I deployed to Afghanistan less than a year later and he passed away while i was over there.

I had the great honor and privilege of meeting Mr. Sam Snead, while sitting in the pilot lounge of the Augusta Airport watching the third round of the 1999 Masters. Myself and about 15 other pilots are glued to the television, and in strolls Mr. Snead, and sits down next to me...In the 20-30 minutes that followed, I learned a lot about Golf, The Masters, and the great Sam Snead.

1986: Jack Nicklaus is 46 years old, and no one on Earth thinks he has a chance to win another major.
He shoots 74-71 to open the tourney, so hardly a contender.
After 54 holes, he is still down by four strokes.
Nicklaus shoots a 65 on the final day to win by one stroke over Tom Kite and Greg Norman.
The Golden Bear's last PGA victory, and it was the Masters.

Phil's first win in 2004. I was at the Miami airport that sunday coming from LA, waiting to board another plane and remember seeing Ernie on TV hitting his second shot on #8 and said that this will be decided between Ernie and Phil.
Plane landed several hours later and saw that Phil won with a birdie on the 72nd. hole. I was very happy for him and remembered his remark from the interview from tuesday when he said to the announcer that besides his top finishes they were no wins.
Glad that i had both of them in my fantasy team
