I'll chime in for Osprey as well. Played it about 2 years ago on a trip to Orlando. Also played Panther Lakes at OCN. Two fantastic courses.

Never knew there was a back road through Disney :)

Well, there are back roads all over Disney property. Most you can only take if you are a cast member and most of those are tightened up due to new security.

I don't know an easy back way from TTC to OCN if you are parked in the guest parking lot. It really depends on what part of Disney property you are coming from.

Okay, so I go and make a tee time at Osprey ridge, but they want a credit card number. I don't have a credit card, my parents do, but I'll be paying with cash. Do I used my parents card and pay cash at the pro shop, or do I call and make a tee time. Do I have to leave a credit card number if I call?

You will need to leave a credit card number, but they will not charge it. All payment is done through the pro shop and you may pay any way you want when you get there. The only time there will be any chance of an issue with a credit card is if you no-show.

Well, after more thinking over the courses, and trying to figure out which to play, I've decided Magnolia. It may not be the nicer of the two based on what was said here, but this will be at best my second round of the year, and the hazards that guard the greens at the osprey, especially its par 3s, aren't going to make for a good time with kinks in the swing. I've also figured that I've wanted to play this course for its tour status and its tradition it has established as being a Disney Course. I haven't played anything overly spectacular in my golf life, best course for me was in Myrtle Beach, so my standards aren't that high right now. When I go back one day, I'll play Osprey, but I think it'd be good to get Magnolia under my belt while I'm not corrupted by really nice courses that I will play in the future (bethpage black and pebble are this summer)

I played the front 9 of the Palm and Eagle Pines (very nice) because it rains everyday about 3:00! Seriously though, Eagle was very nice.

Disney courses are good. Ospery Ridge and Eagle Pines seem to have more character than the others. When I was there for a summer all the courses had twilight rates that helped out on the cost. Probably the best one I played that was public was Orange County National. Also good is southern dunes, black bear, and falcons fire.

Do your self a favour and change the course you are playing, I just got back from Disney on Friday. I played Mag and Palm and I wished I had listened to all these replies. Mag was a huge let down, it was not in good shape at all, divots everywhere, pitch marks all over the greens. If you are going to play here make sure you bring your boom stick cause you will need it, the mickey bunker is a let down I had no idea it was even there until after we teed off and someone in our group mentioned it. Palm was alot better but I wish I would have played something else besides Mag.
