Depends on what you're looking for.

About the newest I've got are a set of Wood Brothers blades, and a set of new Purefit blade heads.

I also have a set of rechromed 986 Tours, but I was rather hoping to play them at some point (plus, in a rather irritating fashion, whoever rechromed them appears to have bored the PW head parallel. Hate mixing and matching shaft bore sizes).

The stories you and Al told of your Saturday round reminded me of when I was playing league at Hiawatha. They have had a couple greens with significant kill on them for several years running.

I've never seen greens so bad as those.

Once had a 5 foot putt hit something about halfway there and completely miss the hole. I may have said bad words then, too...

From what I see, we are 10 so far. I know Marckilgore would like to come (he needs to play that Ping bag he got last time), and I am telling Tola (he went to Prestwick and Tanners) and 3 more guys that were in Prestwick. Also, Jay J says he is probable as a warm up for regionals (I am thinking Al J doesn't want to bring him, so he gets more chance to get the longest drive). And of course, Ladahl and the Rochester team may get there too. So, I think there is a chance the group will be bigger.

Another Tanners round for me today. Even 71. Had a tough birdie putt on 18 but it didn't sniff the hole. Very "Al-like" round. 14 pars and a pair of birds and bogs to offset. Played with a guy I played with at Gross last week. Good day. Nice accuracy on the 71 and sunny forecast. /sarcasm.
Playing well, and sitting in the "chemo" chair Thursday. Might have to sneak out tomorrow again!

#16 isn't the greatest either. Right fairway needed to extend further/closer. There's really no view of the green from down below, and not much incentive to try to hit the right fairway for a look from 180-200 out on a medium length par 4 when you can drive it to 100 yards for a blind approach. Goldstrand dropped the ball on those two holes, and 16 good ones. I know they're trying to put the pressure on you as you come down the stretch, but it's a little tricked up on 15 & 16. Those closing 4 holes can crap on a good round for sure.

Yes 16's upper fairway is no good unless you can place you ball at the end of it next to the cart path. Nice view with a blue flag. 18 has to be one of the hardest finishing holes it's like 440 from the tips into the wind with OB on both sides bunkers down the left and water on the side of green with a blue flag.
