MN WRX at Bulrush Golf Club September 28th 1 PM

The day we went to Tanners I also played Bulrush, and played it way better than Tanners (didn't have a beer until after the round). The best strategy is the Zach Johnson- Corey Pavin way.
My friend Simple36 went with the Dustin Johnson-Bubba strategy and, let's say it didn't work out.
What I liked the most about the course is that the back nine doesn't punish you, so you have a chance to recover if that monster par 5 isn't friendly to you.

The front 9 doesn't punish you, its the back 9 thats the tougher side. I do agree with you though, the course favors accuracy over distance. We have a member who is 78 years old and plays to a 1 index. He plays straight up against our other two best golfers (who both out drive him by 60-80 yards) from the tips and he is always in contention to win against them because he is straight as you can get with every club in the bag. He is hitting fairway woods and hybrids into every green because he only drives the ball around 220 yards, but he hits almost every fairway and every green.

I will be there! Should be good practice for regionals next week. Shot 74 at the legend at giants ridge with a double and triple in my meet yesterday after working with Chris foley for a little bit on Monday.

When my brain shuts down, I bogey. Plain as that. Usually immediately after I've birdied. LOL! Magic eraser works both ways too much for me on the scorecard. ha!

I'm in wait and see mode on Saturday weather-wise. Inside Edge is great, but Eden Prairie is almost more of a haul for me than Rush City.
I'm heading north if anything. Da 'Bul or bust for Saturday for this guy. LOL! I have goretex. I just hate having to use it. And playing in the rain. Uggh....

I had witnesses (2). But as I was kicking a$$ I don't think they remember. For me, after all I had to do to get my ex take care of my daughter, is real golf at Bulrush or bust. Plus, that is why we buy rainjackets and pants.

No I remember it! Don't worry I'm bringing my A game this Saturday and going low. These new irons are so easy to hit I feel like I am cheating! Played 9 holes today and had 5 approach shots that I hit within 8 feet from the pin, problem was the greens were horrendous, like putting on the fairway. Ended up +3. I had one drive that I hammered, had 25 yards to go on 357 yard par 4. I'M FEELING IT GUYS!!!!

Late start means Rob plays right? The weather app on my phone has 98% precipitation from 8-8 but at 4 pm the picture is sun not rain.
