Seriously though, hopefully he will chime in here with some sort of news. There have been situations with putters like this before: Someone finds something cool, Asks opinions on authenticity, finally sends it to be officially verified, then silence for a while, then putter pops up on eBay with no COA and a fuzzy story hinting that it could be real to try and salvage some $$ from folks who didn't see the thread...

I hope this case doesn't turn out that way...

I don't get how anyone can think this is an authentic putter...you can clearly see where the neck was cut off. Well let me rephrase, the head is an authentic Coronado. That is where the authenticity stops. This is some hack job that somebody put together after having a new Miller delivered.

I'm not holding my breath for an update. The OP got the putter from a pro. OP took a picture of the putter, with the pro, and sent it in to Cameron to authenticate. OP has been in touch with at least one big-time Cameron collector, and says he got an offer on the putter. OP hasn't been on this site for over a month, and the OP's last post was on this topic. I'd guess it was authenticated, the OP sold it, and was asked not to talk about it any more.

I would guess just the opposite...OP found it was fake and was not interested in telling us about it....But as i said, just my guess.

I don't get how you can disagee with some of the most credible Cameron guys on the site.

And who would that be? Not for nothing but I've collected CTs, 009s, Garages, and Handmades for years before TCC was sold and lost its founding membership who made TCC what it was before it turned into a flip fest.

If you mean Vog's comment, yes he is credible, but until I see a screencap that says he thinks it is legit the I don't believe what the OP posted. To be honest I think this thread is some sort of joke and the OP is pulling a fast one on WRX members.

Just my own opinion based on my experience in the Cameron world. Not to say that any of those guys are wrong or their own opinions are off base. I'm just on that bus that says its fake because I have never seen anything close to that monstrosity in all the years.

Like they say opinions are like you know what. The more time that passes, the less likely it is that we hear anything from the OP.
