If anything I can say about WRX'ers, its that this statement is totally wrong.

I missed the first day and a half of #CallaWRX2 due to airline issues. I thought I would feel like and outsider when I got there. Not the case at all. Most guys here are so friendly and welcoming its unbelievable. Those guys and I now have an awesome bond that will last. That Saturday will be the bread and butter of awesomeness, and I can't wait to tee it up with you guys!

I found the guys to be super friendly as well. I haven't been playing very long and I have a high handicap. No one made me feel bad about it. This will be a fun time for everyone regardless of their handicap/etc

Yeah nobody made you feel bad because your clubs are sweet. I wanted to hit them all day. It helps that you got a sense of humor too. Some guys take themselves way too serious. I had a good time playing with your group in the fall.

Man that sounds good. My dad and I used to take a trip up to Ontario every summer and we'd fish walleye in the am and pike in the afternoon. Nothing better than the fresh walleye shore lunch! The last few years I've gone we fish walleye almost all the time though as nothing is better than finding that spot where they hit before the line hits bottom...

I haven't been able to make it the past few years, which has really sucked. I LOVE getting away from everything for a week. The camp we stay in has electricity...most of the time, but it's really like being in the middle of nowhere. No cell phones, no interwebz, nada. LOVE IT. Nothing but walleye, cards, and Molson, HAHAHA!

Used to take a similar trip once a year to Peterburough/ Buckhorn Lake Ontario fishing for walleye (think they called them pickerel up there?), small mouth, pike, and a rare muskie. Supposedly a sturgeon or two get caught there a year (or maybe a little north of there), but I never saw one. Great times up there. This post totally feels like a Kid Rock song.

Well....I've got plenty of ice cold bluegills..do get some walleye from time to time..more open water than ice fishing. I tried to go to Canada once, but they wouldn't let me in..lol..that's another story though.
If we didn't have this snow, it would be golf weather, but we do and I'm going ice fishing again today..sunny, 45* and ice fishing...woo hoo!
Looking forward to June outing.
