Losing G25 headcovers?

I have a pair of Ping G25 hybrids, and have been having an awful time trying to keep the headcovers on the clubs. Seems like they just want to come off. I noticed the headcovers would ride up even while while in a riding cart and oriented vertically. Today I walked and carried, and eventually just took the headcovers off and shoved em in a pocket so I wouldn't lose them when they kept falling off. This only happened with my G25 hybrids, no issue with a fairway wood or driver from other companies.

Anyone else experience this, and if so did you come up with a workable solution?

I haven't heard any similar problems, I would think since it's a cover with the "sock neck" it would stay on pretty well.

I would have thought so too, yet here I am. I've never had this happen before.

I have the same problem with the i20 hybrid head covers

Does the elastic sock part seem stretched out at all? I use the stock headcover on my hybrid and haven't had any problems either

The elastic part seems normal, feels the same as my driver cover (older than the hybrids) and my fairway wood (newer than the hybrids). Mob's response leads me to believe there is something wrong with the Ping head covers.

My G25 23 degree hybrid cover fell off and was lost. My G25 17 and 20 degree hybrid cover socks have holes in them. I love the clubs but the covers are awful.

I have this exact problem with my 20* G25 hybrid. I want to just pick up a Stitch to match the one I got for my G25 driver as a tournament gift bag item.

I've lost 3 g25 hybrid covers and 1 g25 fairway wood cover this season. Got club cover hybrid cover and love it so far

I have noticed the socks can ride up a bit on the G25 driver and fairway, but never had one fall off. I use a 14 slot bag and try to tuck the socks especially for the odd time I'm riding. Have the generic Ping 2014 covers on my G20 hybrids now and same thing.

I was using the Back9 covers on hybrids and woods for stealth mode largely. The won't ever come off, look great and good padding. But I decided recently to go with the OEM Ping wood covers just in case of shaft burn longterm. Ironically perhaps with this thread, because of the socks.

I have had the same problem. The hybrids are the worst, they don't look stretched but if you feel them vs a new one you can tell.
