Which #9 Scotty? Newport 3 or 2014 GoLo 3

I'm interested in buying a #9 style Scotty Cameron putter.

I rolled the Newport 3 tonight and liked it, but wonder if it would be better without the multi material face (stainless steel with aluminum insert). I noticed TGW still has new putters of the 2014 GoLo 3 design that has a one piece stainless steel face.

Thoughts/comments? Do you guys like the multi material face better?

Neither, go for the California Del Mar. deep mill for softer feel or the previous model for a bit firmer feel.

See if you can't find a nice 2008 LTD Del Mar Buttonback in gamer condition for a good price. You will love it. I am not a mallet guy but it is the only one that ever made through the front door - on her looks. :-)

2010 California Del Mar is firmer. I believe the deep mill update happened in 2012. If you can swing the 2008 button back mentioned as well, that’s a great choice. I believe they were carbon with tel3 insert vs the California’s being stainless. Same shape though.
