Buying Clothes on Ebay

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this.

Wondering if anyone has experiencing purchasing clothes from Ebay. Either from retailers or slightly used clothing. I guess my question is more for slightly used clothing, have you ever had any issues? Is there anything out that that I should be aware of before purchasing?

Just trying to get a few thoughts before I start Ebay shopping and stop going to the outlets lol.

The only issue is fit, but other than that I've never had issues in terms of condition.

The only thing to really worry about is exact fit. I always ask for measurements. Just because it says 34 on the tag, doesn't mean they're 34.

I bought a lot of golf clothes a couple of years ago, and really had no problem with any of the items.

As said before, sizing is always a challenge, but I know what the fit of the stuff I buy already.

Buying lightly used stuff has been better than I expected, and the deals are sometimes nuts.  I was able to get 2 or 3 pants and a couple of shirts from the same seller for under $40.

I won't buy shoes anymore, just too many variables.

Lots of great deals to be had on eBay, just be sure to check feedback on the seller.

Definitely have to ask for measurements. Pit to Pit, Lengths, etc. All brands fit differently and even the same size in the same brand can fit differently (Nike is a mess with this). I've been burned a few times (even on here) buying what would typically be my size and it arriving super small or too big. Live and learn!

I am purchased lightly used golf shirts on eBay and have had no issues. Barely used Under Armor polo for $12 was my last purchase.. Probably retailed a year or two ago for $60.

Same here - I’ve been on an Adidas Puremotion shirt binge past week. They fit my shape perfectly. Just ordered my 9th shirt and still haven’t breached the $100 mark yet. All have been in mint shape and a few were new, without tags.

I have bought several nike golf apparel items off Ebay never had a problem, just make sure its new with tags. Also I had one instance with some golf pants that were suppose to be new, they came with a stain but I messaged the seller and he gave me a huge discount. Ebay also protects the buyer also if there was something to go wrong. 

I've had good luck on ebay with new and slightly used clothes.  If you are concerned about fit make sure to ask for measurements (pit to pit, length, etc).  For used clothes I verify that there are no rips, holes, stains, or tears.  Some people care if the previous owner had pets, or if they smoked.  I bought a Nike Tipped Polo 'new' a few months ago.  When I received it, it had two small holes on the arm (it looked like someone got over zealous pulling off a price tag).  I let the seller know and asked what they wanted to do (I assumed I would send it back for a refund).  They gave me a refund and told me to keep the shirt.  (That opened a whole different can of worms for me about if they just do so much business that it wasnt worth it to have me ship back a shirt, or if they may have known about it all along?  At any rate, I got a new Nike polo for free.)
