Flightscope discontinuing support for the X2

As of January Flightscope will no longer support the X2.

No software updates and repairs will be limited to the parts that they currently have on hand as some parts are not being produced anymore.

All current registered X2 owners were sent notice of this a while ago so if your looking for a used one, like I was, be aware.

Wow thanks. Just out of curiosity how did you find this out? I have a Tour Xi so hoping that isn’t on the radar for them, no pun intended

Flightscope told me when I phoned them in August to run a serial number on a used X2 I was going to buy.All these guys trying to unload X2's and saying a bunch at crap when asked ,"Why are you selling?"...I dont use it much anymore...Too much machine for me...blah ,blah,blah.They knew about the no support issue as Flightscope sent out an email blast to all registered X2 owners.

All xi series and X2 elites are ok as they use different radar assemblies and parts .There are no plans to sunset these models.

Used.Bought it Friday 45 mins from my house.

Funny story,made a deal with a guy for one on Thursday night.He was a 7.5 hour drive away (one way). Was going to go get it today.

Friday morning I get an email alert from a buy and sell site I frequent for a Flightscope for sale . I figgue it's just another mevo and when I read the email I find out it's an xi tour.I respond to the email and he calls me about 3 seconds later. ( no exaggeration here, I didn't even have time to put the phone on the table it rang in my hand)

Picked it up 90 mins later.
