Mizuno T20 vs Titleist Vokey SM7

I am thinking of selling off my SM7 and purchase Mizuno T20s.

Anyone who has played both can comment on feel, performance, looks etc please.

I have a T20 50 deg and a bunch of Vokeys. The T20 looks better, can be had raw and with more shafts at no upcharge. However, it doesn’t feel good and could use some more bounce.

I will be sticking with Vokey.

Well that’s a bummer to hear. I was thinking about ordering a t20 56 to replace my Cleveland CG10 56. I may have to look at others now.

I thought the t20 s400 felt a lot better than my sm7 and mine were the raw version. The vokey do have more bounce options.

Try them both out for yourself or just buy both. ;-)

Game T20's now, and I still own vokey that I never use.

Feel - T20, hands down

Performance - What I can say is that T20's perform better from the rough and better when wet. Fairway shots are probably the same. Vokey's are maybe more consistent? It's tough to tell.

Looks - Subjective. That's totally up to you and not for me to say. I like that vokey's come in black because it helps reduce glare and they look cool in the bag

Here's one thing that I've noticed - The T20's have the loft marking on the back of the club and not on the sole. When they are in the bag it actually is harder to tell which wedge is what and I feel like I have to end up just grabbing all 3 and then sorting through which club I need when I get to my ball (if riding). Many times I grab all my wedges anyway if I'm not sure of my lie, but oddly enough it just kind of bugs me they didn't stamp the loft on the sole. Literally every other club has this and I never thought I'd miss it until it wasn't there.

Mizuno MPT-10 wedges were amazing, but thereafter Mizuno wedges went backwards in my opinion.

Ive been a long time Vokey and Ping wedge player however after buying a set of MP 20 MMCs I went ahead and got new T20 wedges. I went with a 51, 55, and a 59. I love the shape of them and they blend seemlessly with my irons. Preformance wise they seem to be on par with my previous Vokeys and Pings. My favorite wedges were the Ping Gorges and these remind me of those in a way. So far Im happy with them.
