Will there be new Mizuno JPX irons this year?

I'm interested in the JPX line, and was wondering if anyone has any inside info on the next rollout of this series. I believe the 919 tour, 919 forged, and 919 hot metal were released in mid 2018, with the 919 hot metal pro being released in February 2019.

I'm very intrigued by the hot metal pro, but would love to see a model with a touch more offset. I can see the new version of the HMP having a little more offset (just a guess), but I'm not sure if we are still a full year out from that.

Anyone have any info on this?

Any guess if the new HM Pro, if there will be such a thing, would be part of this release, or delayed until early 2021?

Not sure they will release 4 models again in the JPX line, 2 models may be merged, think the preference is for 3, but no inside info, speculating

Have had my eye on some JPX 919's since the beginning of last season, waiting for some price drops......Going to a large golf expo at the end of March, with hopes to get fit again (got fit at beginning of 2019 when my average score was 100+, now I am around low 90s). With upcoming JPX due this season, is end of March too early for 'last generation' discounts or will they start closer to the new release dates?

Following up on this, does Mizuno make it "easy" to get custom fit prior-gen irons? I'm also interested in the AP3s at the moment, but since they are now a prior generation club, I can't get custom fit for them.

If I get fit for specs with the 919s, then wait to see what they roll out later this year, will I still be able to get custom (and discounted) 919's if I prefer them to the new model?

You might be rolling the dice on that, best to try and find a dealer on here and keep communication open, they usually have an idea when custom orders get cut.

I liked the Tour so much, got 2 sets, if the new ones are sweet, sell off one set, get the new ones.

Unlikely the next version of the HMP will have more offset, why would Mizuno do that? HMP intentionally has reduced offset to differentiate it from the standard HM. 919 Forged has a touch more offset than HMP, also Srixon Z585 and Callaway Apex19 have more offset if you are prepared to consider other brands.

You may have a brief window to custom order the prior generation when the new one is released, but they typically cut it off pretty quickly once the new models are unveiled. Ping was really the only company that allowed you to order prior gen clubs for an extended period of time. They still do that with woods but have cut back dramatically on the supply of prior gen irons.

I doubt anyone but the tippity top people at Mizuno or any other company would have any idea on that.

If Mizuno follows current release dates they will come out this fall. They will be for 2021 model.
