Odyssey Black Series Tour Design 2-ball blade

Be a good replacement for Paddy's 2ball blade...

I pray it does...the 2 Ball Blade has been my favorite putter that I've never purchased. Never could get used to the face insert - this would be a dream come true.

I was wondering the same thing! I used to love my old DFX 2-ball blade and made a lot of putts with it. But I eventually sold it because I started to hate the hard feeling insert and the lighter weight. This is the putter I've been waiting for for a few years now. Can anyone comment on the feel of the Black Series Tour milled face?

I hope it comes to retail. I too loved my DFX 2ball blade. This would be a keeper and one I would buy as soon as it comes out. Whether or not it can knock my Wilson Staff Kirk Currie out but would definitely use as back up.

Were there any other models of the Black Series Tour putters that you saw besides the 2-ball? (Aside from the 4 models available in stores now, of course)

I heard the retail date is April 15.

I think I saw the regular 2 ball on the GC special at the PGA show. Looked kinda funny without the insert but it is one putter that I would like to try. I've given up on inserts...

And a weight chip that can be swapped out to make it 350, 360 or 370g. Can't wait to try this and the White Ice version.

Feel the same way as you. My solution was to get the white steel version.

That said, I'll be looking to demo this one.

Fathoming the price tag on that putter may be a little scary, but it looks like a winner. Sure to be a big hit, what a great idea, it's about time we saw a 2 ball w/o an insert.

Any more info on these?

Same here. I will have one when it comes out. Now for those saying it's coming in April, do we have a date locked down yet and how come even Odyssey hasn't advertised it yet? I would think they would have been showing a launch date by now.

Alright someone here know's when this putter is being released. Come on let's see a confirmed date!!

Anyone know if they will be offering a 2 ball faced balanced version along with this blade version?

I called Callaway. They have confirmed the blade version. They won't say anything about a regular face balanced version.

just checked Golfsmith site.It now says shipping on April12th

Well well well. Looks like someone is going to be making some phone calls to the golf stores in the area Monday to see when they will have them. With any luck it will be in my bag by next weekend.

Me too. Finally, a milled-face 2-ball blade.

Edit to post: Just called Callaway. They are delaying the release of this putter until May 15th because they want to market the Backstryke stuff. This totally sucks.

If this is true So all the people who pre-ordered through Golfsmith and other online retailers are getting screwed thinking when they ordered it was coming next week now its six weeks away. Way to drop the ball Callaway.

That said I'll still snag one in May but I am not happy. Me---><----Callaway

Thanks for the reply. Have always wanted a milled face 2-ball. Still rocking a 2 ball White Steel (have 2 just in case one goes missing or if the steel insert goes out of whack). Have tried all sorts of mallets but keep coming back to the 2 ball. Have also ordered a Kombi-S to try out, but this milled version should be even better.

If they come out with the full 2-ball, I will have a custom Scotty with purple and white paintfill for sale on BST!!!

I called the Golfsmith where I bought it. They don't have a clue when it's coming in. Website ship date now pushed to April 14th.
