TaylorMade Ghost Series Putters Review

So I live in Japan and had a chance to test all of the Ghost putter offerings (Corza, Fontana and Daytona). The Fontana looks out of place for a design IMO. It just did not look good at all. The Corza has a nice heavier head and the insert fells nice and soft. Out of the 3 it seems to roll the ball the best. Though I am sure it will vary person to person. The Daytona setup the best and actually resembles the cameron squareback with the exception of the ring added to the back of it. The insert on this feels more clicky than the other models and head weight is lighter as well but still rolls the ball good and with nice results for distance control. You can actually pick these up on tourspec golf for about $275. Seem to remember the Daytona going on ebay the other day for near $400. Odd thing is that in the local golf stores these run about $230 right now. Hope they release the Daytona in the U.S. so that I can pick one up for cheap.

Yeah, obivously here in the US i only could try out the corza, boy was it nice. the alignment aid was fantastic, rolled well with the insert, but the best part was the weighting, it was absolutely fantastically weighted.

I played both the Daytona and Corza Ghost today and I really like both of them. The Daytona set up better to me but I did like the roll better with the Corza. I am not much of a mallet guy and I think I need little more time with it and I will bag it.

Either one is great so anyone thinking of buying one should get it!

Think I will try the Daytona when they hit the UK shores, will be putting it up against my squareback which is making plenty of putts at the moment so it is going to have to be pretty special for me to bag it

I have to admit, although not a huge taylormade fan, these I can't wait to give a roll. They look great

I am not a big fan of TM products either, But after strugling with putting all season I decided it was time to make a change and went to the store the other day to test out some new offerings, After a long session of trying every putter I could get my hands on, I found the Corza Ghost to be the one for me, Easy to line up, Great feel on the face, And puts a good roll on the ball, I was gonna look for a good deal on the web but I got $30 extra on each of my putter trades that I had so the Ghost came home with me. Played 18 this morning and was putting 100% better than any of my rounds this year, Even sank a sweet 30 ft par save on 18, Cant say anything but good things about the putter.

Got an itsy bitsy, can anyone tell me if the feel and strike of it is similar?

The daytona the pro's are playing is just the kia ma version painted white to further market the ghost line. Nothing more nothing less. If you really want one just buy the new daytona kia ma and have it refinished in white.

Are all the new ghost putters going to be face balanced?, I have heard conflicting things on this.
