It's The Real Deal

I play Pro V1 and have been reading all the reviews on the Top Flite Gamer 3 Piece Ball, so I figured with the Fall/Winter season approaching, I'd give them a try @ $19.99 a dozen. I shot a 75 with one today and as hard as it is to believe, the Gamer did damn near everything the ProV1 does for me, and after 18 holes, there isn't a mark on the ball. Long off the Tee and soft off the Irons. I do feel the Pro V1 is better on the Greens, however the Gamer does produce a very nice roll. This ball is too good to be sold for $19.99 a dozen for very long, so I'm going to stock up on them. I actually got 15 balls for $19.99 as they are running a Promo special. I got them at Golfsmith. For that kind of out of pocket savings, and that kind of performance, I'll play them for all rounds except for tournaments. You have to give the Gamer a try to believe it!:clapping:

I buy Gamer V2s to use as practice balls. They take a beating with the wedges and don't do too badly on the course, either! I still prefer to play with a premium ball when I'm keeping score, but for practice the Gamers are hard to beat for value/performance ratio!

The 15 pack for $20 is probably the best value out there...especially with the upcoming fall season in the Northeast and Mid-Atl. Nothing like being unable to find your premium ball in the FW due to leaves.

I picked up a 2 ball sleeve of the original gamer yesterday at the course because i wanted to try them. This is one amazing ball! It was very long and had nice feel off the irons. Not sure about putts (had 19 so im sure it was my stroke in that category LOL) and shot a 41 for 9 holes. Anyway it did shred just a little and the v2 is suppose to be more durable. So bottom line is For the Price i really think i have found my Gamer ball. I will tell ya it plays just like a bridgestone E7 with more greenside spin and is 7 bucks cheaper than bridgestone! This ball is real close to being premium IMHO. This ball is in my bag for now until it can be beat! Oh and btw about spin I did hit a 9 iron from 143 past pin and spun it back 4 foot but thats not what golf is all about just wanted to share about the spin it has. VERY NICE BALL GIVE IT A TRY!

The TopFlite D2 Feel is also a great ball for the money. At $13.95 for 15 balls it's a steal. I won our Club Championship playing these last year. It doesn't spin as much as the Gamer, but other than that, it's a great ball.

Got the 15 pack at TGW last week for 19.95 - 15% because of an in-store special. It is the best value in a every-day ball I know of. JMHO.

Just make a note that if you like the original Gamer (with its cover issues), it plays quite a bit different than the V2.

I really like the original Gamer - as smith says, a great value every day ball. The V2 is a much different story...harder, less spin, not as enjoyable a ball (to me anyways).
