Information on Some Clubs I Found (3-9 Irons, Pitching and Sand Wedge, Two Putters)

I recently stumbled upon a set of golf clubs that were set out on the side of the road. I know very little about golf itself and even less about the equipment and history of the game. There is a set of 3-9 irons, a pitching wedge, and a sand wedge. Also, there are two putters included. Since I have no use for them, I was wondering if someone knows what they might be worth.

The Irons

As stated, the 3-9 irons are in the set. The head of each has "KS-Tour" and "Oversize" on them. The shafts are a brand called "Ripstix." It says it's a 310 system, low torque, T-700, and high-strength graphite. The grip on the club is a Kelmac. There's some wear on the clubs' shafts, so I assume they're a decade or two old. That's just a guess, to be honest. Here's some pictures of the 3-Iron:

The Putters

There were two putters in the bag. One was a Passage by Beauwood FL-2 Model by Larry Igarashi. I can't really tell much else about it, but I did take a picture of it.

The other putter is a little different looking. It's called "The Surveyor" by a company named northwestern. I don't know much about clubs, but it seems pretty unique.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm looking to just sell these somewhere. Thanks.

The iron looks like an old King cobra. Probably a copy by a component company.

Well, I assume that would lessen the value? I don't golf often enough to keep them, so I'm looking to sell.

I've got a few loose Beauwood / Larry Igarashi irons in the basement, but I'm weird...

Sorry but these clubs just are not worth much. Old golf clubs like these are a dime a dozen. If they were a well known or famous brand ie. Ben Hogan, Macgregor or Wilson (older collectible irons) they may be worth something. These would hardly be worth your trouble to sell. Have a look at ebay and you will see dozens of old sets for $30 or less. It would explain why they were left out on the side of the road.

Give them to somebody who can´t afford buying clubs and will actually use them.

Scrap metal value. Knock off irons, and Kmart grade putters.

If you have a garden, they would make some snazzy looking tomato stakes!

the northwestern surveyor is supposed to have a level in the circle thing.

You could take them to your local Goodwill for the tax write off or set them up on the 'Bay for a pittance...

I do golf every now and then, so are they good clubs to use or no?

Also, I have a red leather Spalding golf bag. It looks to be from the 90's and is in fairly good condition. At this point, I'm thinking the bag might be worth more than the clubs. Any ideas?

If you like to golf once in a while and they're all you have, of course they're fine (and the price was right).

Yep, the bag may be worth more, but probably not as much as you'd imagine. Check eBay to see what comparable bags have sold for and take it from there.

But if it's the only bag you've got, your new / old clubs need to go in something!
