I built one on the website...and it came out to $649. :-0 I didn't place the order. lol
Thanks Sean! It is really nice. I didn't have to pay anything for mine, which is nice. Sean Toulon promised it to me while we were at Torrey Pines, and he delivered.

It may or may not just be a honeymoon period, but I've had better results with the M3 over the Epic lately. It just feels more forgiving on off-center strikes. I have heard good things about the Rogue but haven't had a chance to test it head-to-head. As of right now, heading into the tournament season three weeks away, the M3 + Tensei Pro White 70X is in the bag.
I needed a new 60* wedge and wanted something raw, so I worked with Mike Taylor at Artisan to get a custom piece done. Pretty cool to see Patrick Reed win with a few wedges in the bag. Of course, as soon as I do, Callaway finally releases raw at retail! /censored2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':censored2:' />
Other than that, everything else is the same from my incredible fitting at the ECPC (Epic 3W, Apex Pro 3H, Apex Pros, MD3, O Works).

Not sure why my wife didn't start this process in January so it could have been finished by now. Especially since we had such lousy weather this spring
Have any of you gentlemen tried the 2018 Chrome Soft? If so, what did you think?
I think the new chromesoft is a lot better than last year. If im being honest it’s still not my favorite ball. I like the pro v1x and the TP5 a lot which takes a lot for me to say. (I’m a little anti TM)
I feel like the new chrome soft models have a lot better spin separation from previous years. My mid irons flight better than before and are probably a couple yards longer. I don’t notice a huge difference in the wedges but I do feel like I get more from my driver. I’d be more willing to go 100% on the callaway ball if it spun more around the greens.

I've tested the new X version and I'm a fan. Longer off the driver and irons than last year's model and very durable.
Its close to dethroning the Srixon Z-Star XV.
Thanks for your input! I haven't purchased anything since before our trip (well, a few golf gloves), and I was thinking of breaking down and buying a sleeve of the new CSx.

I have a couple dozen of CSx that I’ve been playing with. It’s a great ball but it’s not my favorite. I can’t express how appreciative i am of callaway for treating us like they have but I’m currently using what works best for me. That’s a bunch of Callaway clubs and a competitors ball.

I haven't hit the new chrome soft, i found the 2017 chrome soft was great with irons and woods.....but i hated it for chipping, it came out so low, just oddly low. Maybe 60% of the height for me of like a Pro V1. I got along a bit better with the CSX
But Callaway was never my go to ball. I used Tour Preffered's or the newer TP5's in all of my tournament rounds.
I like the performance of Titleist but i feel like they have a "hollower" feel with irons
Since our trip i haven't bought much in regards to clubs either. Just the Steelhead XR 3 iron which i used to replace my hybrid, and the Ping G driver which i am more consistent, albeit a bit shorter with

The reasons I haven't purchased anything is these clubs are working for me, and I really don't think anything new will help my game, and most important I am not sure I can get a fitting as good as the one I received at Callaway. Other fitters I went to put me at +1 and 3º upright and +1 and 5º upright, with regular flex. Arthur put me at +2-inches and 2º upright in stiff flex. In addition, the hybrid is +1-inch, and the fairway woods +0.5 inches, also in stiff flex. I had my best season last year with these clubs, and yes you have to put a good swing on the ball regardless, but I think the clubs/fitting made a major contribution as well.
The only "issue" I have had is the ferrule has become separated from the driver, but that is just cosmetics.
yeah they did a great job, i mean even the stuff i replaced will get used a lot this year. I hit the crap out of the Epic, just trust the G more for the rounds where i really have to count score.
The 3 iron i just like because when i nuke it people ask me how i can hit an iron that far.
After my round today...the temperature almost hit 70 AND the sun was shining, remarkable...I went to check out the demo day our club was having. I figured I would give the Rogue a shot. As I have said in the past, I am not interested in purchasing anything unless it has a real WOW! factor.
I wasn't expecting much. I have read some reviews as well as what some folks have had to say about the Rogue versus the Epic, and based on that I just didn't think there would be much difference. I was wrong.
Launch angle, spin rate, smash factor, etc., were all better with the Rogue. I was also carrying it 22 yards longer than with the Epic (now, that ain't saying much since I don't hit it all that far to begin with). I also like the shaft...an Aldila Synergy...which I had never heard of before. The sound and feel were substantially different as too.
Regarding the extra yardage, I am wondering if there is a small hairline crack in my Epic that I can't see. My swing/ball speed were close. The big difference was smash factor which went from 1.45 to 1.52...though I though SF only went to 1.50.
In any case, I was hitting it higher, farther, and straighter. I ordered the Rogue Draw, 13.5º, set to -1/N, with the Aldila Synergy shaft in regular flex.

I have have a few epic vs rogue battles this demo season. Rogue has won most of them.

I'm testing drivers M3, Cobra F8+ against the Epic. The Epic is long but doesnt always translate to good scores.
I'm back to my old M2 3 wood, I just trust it.
Srixon U45 2 iron is back instead of the apex hybrid. I hate Hybrids.
I'm still playing Callaway irons Legacy Blacks..... (the best players cavity back irons ever) the shape is perfect.
MD forged wedges
Spider Tour putter. (hate the way it looks but it sure makes putts)
Hope everyone is getting out for some golf now that spring is showing up around most of the country.
