Amazon warehouse used golf clubs

Does anyone actually bought used golf club from amazon warehouse? Just trying to understand what to expect. I found a nice deal but was not really familiar.

I've bought a lot of non-golf clubs from Amazon Warehouse. I've found that the quality is as described or better. The return policy is usually pretty good so don't see the harm in trying then reporting back.

While it's the Amazon warehouse you are asking about who is actually fullfilling the order? Is it actually Amazon or one of the many sellers that make up the Amazon marketplace?

I bought a hybrid from there once. Listed in like new condition. Head was in plastic. The shaft was broken inside the grip. It had the big sticker on the box letting me know they inspected it. The return process was easy though.

It used to be a lot better. You can still find great deals and returns are easy but the last two clubs I have bought have been entirely different clubs that were labeled and inspected. I received fairway woods for driver orders both times.

Warehouse has kind of gone downhill. I bought a sewing machine for my wife on amazon warehouse that was listed as “like new”. Had the “amazon inspected” sticker on it. It smelled like cigarette smoke, was scuffed up, and was missing pieces. Was not thrilled to say the least.

Two things will happen -

 

You will get the item you ordered in like new 'open box' format

 

OR

 

You will get a broken and/or not the same item at all that was a malacious customer return

Very hit and miss with those...are the prices that much better?

It was 70 for Cleveland HB Soft putter.

Got the club and it looks great. I did not find anything wrong with it.

I guess I got lucky. Also I did not see any amazon inspected sticker in the box.

I think only customer returns get the inspected sticker. Warehouse also gets items that have dents and scratches, a lot of them are actually damage to packaging. I have purchased a lot of things from Warehouse when the price difference is large enough to justify taking a small chance. I can count with one hand how many times I was disappointed by what I got. Each of those times I either returned or got my refunds without questions.
