Tour Ad Di 6x: real or fake?

Hey guys, just recently bought a SLDR driver with a Graphite Design Tour Ad Di 6x shaft from callawaygolfpreowned.com. However, when it arrived, the shaft looked nothing like I had expected. Instead of the signature orange, this shaft was predominantly a maroon color, with a silver bit that had the logo. Although I believe the site is quite reputable, I'd like to get a few extra opinions on this. Could anyone tell me if this shaft is legit and what kind of variant it is? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I had one like that in a TaylorMade R9 TP I think. Mine came direct from TM. So maybe a made for version? And it’s so long ago, I could be mistaken which model driver I had.

Most of TaylorMade’s aftermarket shafts used to only come in TaylorMade graphics. I think SubaruWRX is right, that looks like the old R9-era graphics. They were all authentic shafts, with a different paint job. It used to be kind of cheesy, but now you can find high end shafts from the era of TaylorMade-branded aftermarket options for pennies on the dollar.

Yea it’s real. TM used to have their aftermarket shafts wrapped in their graphics as the TP version. It’s a real deal, not a water down version of an AD DI 6X.

Yup, just a TM badged DI from back in the day. Sort of a bridge from the "made for" days to the stock shafts you see today.
