I agree. Part of the reason I tend to stick to blades is I've always putted best with plumbers necks and there aren't tons of great options in mallets out there without going custom.

What's a "Typical Scotty hater?" Where are the pictures of all the other custom putters, like Odyssey, Bettinardi, and Piretti? I want to see more pictures of putters that all look essentially the same.

the irony is that this is actually a novel putter style and other than Danielle Kang I can't recall when I've seen a neck like this with a mallet.

I believe the one Hideki has is some iteration of the GoLo 5R? They are super rare, but you can find some floating around in the Scotty community.
