Tour ball coming spring 2011
If you are lookig for lowest spinning ball off driver and more spin around the green wait till you try the NEW Nike tour ball due for spring. I had a chance to test it and it was unbelievable. Rep gave me the following info:

New Resin injected core--never been done before by any company. All other balls use rubber core material, compression molded NOT injected. Was 3 years in the making with Dupont. Benefits--lower spin off drvier--rep says lowest in the industry and higher spin on short shots.

ball felt great, was defintely more boring on long shot and seem to react very good around the green.

I heard it will be avaialble in spring 2011. No Name yet.

Nike is bringing it. New blades look good, VR Tour driver is classy, somehow they always have a great golf ball...

This one sounds interesting and if it is true I'm sure it would be a winner for Nike, always on the cutting edge.

I was never a Nike guy until recently. I just never took them seriously as a golf company, but I'm impressed after trying some of their recent offerings. It started with the Sam's Club sale on Nike One Tour balls. I bought 3 dozen at $12.91 each on a whim, and much to my surprise, I really like them. In fact, it is my new ball of choice.

I then tried the VR Full Cavity irons. I'm a 4 handicap who was interested in trying some GI irons, but found most of them to be too bulky with too much offset and generally not pleasing to my eye. These Nike irons are different. I got them at a great price from Discount Dans and have been VERY pleased with them in the last few weeks since I put them in the bag.

I'm also playing a Dymo 4 wood. Very solid fairway wood for the price ($60 new).

I'm sure I'll give this new ball a try, but it needs to be something real special to knock the One Tour out of my bag, especially at the discounted prices.

Are you sure about this new "resin injected core" technology that Nike will be using?

Bridgestone manufactures all of Nike's premium golf balls, and it seems as if this was some awesome new technology, that Bridgestone would have already used it.

Any info of this "new" process on the internet? My guess is that it is probably just marketing hype sent down to the reps to push the new product...

It has a "resin" core which has been patented by NikeGolf...

Jamie Lovemark has put it into play, not sure who else is playing it at this point...

Played with it yesterday...

I need six layers in order to play it, I see no advantage over the Penta unless the Nike has more layers.

I have been told that this ball is not being manufactured by Bridgestone. Very hush-hush about wgo, but not Bridgestone.

I know your statement was tongue in cheek.

I will take a ball with less layers and no visible seam around the whole ball over a ball with an unsightly seam and less yards. The Nike is the truth!

Went to a Bridgestone challenege and was very surprised at how much shorter the Penta was compared to my old fav, the TP Red and both the B330 and B330-s.
