yeah i think it's cool to chase the dream and all that too. But 1 index if that is accurate i'd think is going to have you way over your head. Have you tried anything like this before?

There's a lot of 1 indexes who didn't make the final day of our club championship, let alone qualify for a tour event

I have played from a +3 to a 1, I am getting over a back injury and its a opportunity for me that I didn't think would come. I have a played in a few "minor" tour events but being in the military my schedule is tough. I am in a good place right now and things are coming around, I know its going to be a BIG feat but I just want a chance.

Why don't you just save a couple of hundred bucks from your job yourself and go do it? It's gonna cost you an entry fee, a practice round green fee, gas, a night in a motel 6, and a couple of meals at mcdonalds. And if you get through the pre qualifyer it's a little more gas, another night in a motel 6, and another meal at mcdonalds or two.

I am not sure about you but many of us don't have hundreds of dollars available especially after the holidays. I have been on this site for a while and I have seen and donated to people before that are trying to do this very thing. I am going to donate any excess to the First Tee of San Antonio if something goes wrong or I receive too much.

You said you were in the military so you are employed correct? Just stop going to the movies or the bar or out to dinner for a little while and you'll have the money in no time. Or just sell something you own. Or just put it on a credit card. If you make enough that you've donated to others doing the same thing you should have no problem coming up with a few hundo.

If it means as much to you as you say you'll have no problem sacrificing a little bit to come up with the money. Like I said, you don't need a sponsor for this.

If people want to donate to something like this I guess that's their prerogative. Meanwhile there are starving people and sick children all over the world. It's not hard to make a few hundred extra bucks on the side mowing yards, delivering pizzas in the evening, etc.

You have no idea what my life is about nor do I know anything about yours, this was not intended to stir up this kind of reply. I would ask before you make a reply like that take some time and investigate what someone makes. I have good intentions and I do not want this topic to go down that road.

Thanks everyone for the taking the time to read this and for those who thought about or intended on donating I appreciate it. Its funny how people want run and talk about things they have no clue what they are talking about nor situation of other people. You can see these types of string all through GolfWRX and they don't get reply's like this.

Regardless of my high handicap, we're talking about your handicap which Is unbelievably high for what you say you're trying to do.
You're basically saying to complete strangers that you'd like to know if anyone wants to pay for a vacation for you. Best to you.
