Will break the bank, in my opinion, during summer. Especially if you stay 4 nights and do everything at the resort. Rooms aren't even that nice for the price you pay.

I appreciate the input from everyone. We booked our trip to San Diego/Palm Springs yesterday.

I don't think I'll have time to golf in SD (I was hoping to play Torrey Pines), but we're staying at the Miramonte Indian Wells Resort in Palm Springs, so I'll probably play a round there and try to make it to PGA West for either the Mountain or Stadium Course.
