I've got got a v203 tour but haven't hit it. I play my d202 from time to time. The 203 tour is made for a lower trajectory and better swing. I've got a Diamana 60 X in mine. All Yamaha stuff is great. What shaft is in it?

How much is the asking price? The new RMX drivers are better in my opinion.
What makes you say that?
Have you hit both?

I don't think the new RMX's are Endo forged in Japan as were the 203's.
have hit both with Tour AD MT on an LM. Although the distances were pretty much the same, the dispersion was 15% better with the RMX 01 model that I hit. It is my understanding that the 02 model would be more forgiving. If you're looking at a similar driver, don't overlook the Mizuno Craft line, it will blow your thoughts on Mizuno woods away

Thanks for the feedback, so it looks like the RMX's are more forgiving.
Mizuno Craft/Yoro looks sensation. Would love a custom set one day.

Mizuno Craft drivers are gorgeous but they have a sweet spot the size of a pin head. The 611 maybe not AS bad but still not a forgiving club at all. Just FYI.

ONOFF Labospec 358 — Tour AD TP6
Titleist TS2 16.5* — Kuro Kage XM 80
Justick Proceed 21* UT — Nippon GOST
Mizuno MP-20 HMB/MB— MITSUBISHI MMT 105/125
Mizuno T20 50* and 55* — MITSUBISHI MMT 125
Seven ST 61* Black Boron — MCI Black 125 “mild”
Epon Ltd Edition I-33 — Matrix PZ-125 Shaft
The 611 is about the same as the RMX 01, but the other models are similar to the V203 Tour Forged.
just out of curiosity, have you considered all the Srixon JDM models? Last year, the best JDM driver from my experience was the 725, distance/launch conditions/forgiveness were all in the top three.

I've played that V203 Tour for a year or so, now I rotate it with a RomaRo on occasion. IMO it's the best combo of feel, forgiveness and distance I've EVER played. I even bought a backup. The RMX drivers look cheap to me, paint is all over the head, etc. Not impressive quality, and from what I've heard, not nearly as nice since they went away from Endo and started making them in China.
The RMX is still forged by Endo, just not in Japan. Endo has forging plants in both China and Thailand. It's the only way to keep price in check for their OEM customers.

$1100. For a tour V203 & $800. for RMX driver isn't exactly keeping the price in check. Better options out there for your money.
the price difference was made possible by having the club forged outside of Japan. Yamaha, to my knowledge, did not sell a lot of the V because its price. And I have heard they did not make a lot of profit due to the manufatcutering cost.
