Sand Creek Station in Newton...Wow!

I had heard great things about the course but I was finally able to play it last weekend and I absolutely loved it! My wife has a friend that lives in Wichita and we went down to visit. Of course that meant I had to play golf somewhere. Definitely worth the 30 min drive from Wichita and I can't wait to go back and play again even if it requires the 3 hour drive from KC for me. Of course, if I could find a way to get on Prairie Dunes next time I'd love to cross that off the bucket list but I'd have no problem playing Sand Creek again and again.

sand creek is a good course, probably played it 4 times now. there are a couple holes i thought were a little tricked up - #2 with that giant tree in front of the green makes going for it in two basically a non-option. and #16, which is supposedly their version of "the road hole bunker" has so much trouble short and long of the green you either just play out to the right or lay up.

at least that's what i remember.....good course though, and I'm sure I'll be out there a couple more times this year.

Really like Sand Creek. They had the place in amazing shape for the US Pub Links this past week. Good to see after they struggled most of the last year with flooding issues.
